There's a detailed thread with pics on FEP. Easiest way I've found is to call Green Bullit and let him do it.

He wouldn't even be having this issue if he'd sold it to me in the first place.

Ive PMed bullitt at the beginning of this week with no response so I guess Ill be doing it myself. As far as the core, I was about to buy the aftermarket one from 50resto until i called autozone. They have aluminum replacement units for $21... Where 50 was $37. I am going to take a gamble and not replace the hoses and hope that the one current ones arent rotted out... If they are, then I dont mind waiting with the dash all hanging till I get some ordered. Im lucky enough to have a friend who has indefinately let me borrow his swb 1500 for the duration of the winter, or till the core is replaced. I shall be tackling this tomorrow or wednesday if anyone is bored! ;D
P.S. Bryan, did you ever end up getting that 4eye you found? Curious if she was clean.

I bought Kyles '87 with the 4 Eye front end. Best of both worlds, 4 eye look with a decent interior!

And don't cheap out on this, find a Ford core if at all possible, but at the very least use brass. You do not want to do this job again anytime soon, trust me. The hoses are cheap too, so replace them too. And don't forget the flow restrictor.

The molded ones are very expensive. You can get bulk stuff at O'Riellys for around 1.50 a foot. It's a little harder to install them, but a lot cheaper than the molded hose.
