whats the difference between this
and this
besides the huge prices difference?
i have a mild 5.0 with a lil nitrous(100shot) and it smoked pretty good at the cruise on the last pass when i let off the gas at the end of the run, popped hood and turned out oil from the breather( like the one above) had leaked some oil and dripped on hte headers and made a lot of smoke.. did the same thing on the way home while normal driving. 2 days later i go out to test it, crank it up, no smoke, hit the throttle few times, no smoke even have my dad hit it a couple times with me under it with a flashlight looking at the mufflers where the exhause exits, and nothing.
i replaced the breather with a new edelbrock one like the above pic but havent started it yet and was wondering(prolly not the only one) which is better for a carb'd motor with a small amount of nitrous?? i have a PCV on the drivers side, my breather is on the passenger side valve cover.
anyone have any thoughts?
