transmission lines hooked to radiator or stand alone cooler or not
what do you guys think about transmission coolers
after marker cooler alone, connect to radiator cooler and aftermarket cooler, what do you do?
Don't worry about what you can't change.
Do the best you can with what you have.
Be honest, even if it hurts.

I had to run a cooler by itself when I added a stall to my car. Temps in the summer would cause it to go into limp mode. Takes a little bit longer to heat up in the colder months bug nothing to bad.
If you're talking about the Mustang, it should be fine with a single B&M supercooler (setrab style bar and plate).
My car leaves at 5200 on the two step and uses TWO of the supercoolers and rarely sees 180* temps. You know how those turbo cars whoop on the trans staging!
I never invested in a tranny temp gauge, but in the past, I have been worried about the temp in the final rounds of the brackets, ffw ect. I have a stand alone cooler, fined aluminum pan and a fan but also have the rad. cooler there unused.
Brooks, sorry I missed the gtg. Thanks for all you do for us.
side note, performance transmissions in Kennadale has a transmission dyno for testing transmissions, pressure, shifting ect.

Chances are, you'd noticed the burnt trans fluid smell pretty easily if it's getting hot enough to worry about it.
No problem man, wish you couldve made it, There was a lot of good racing and good weather.

do you stack them? i just have one supercooler and i see ~210 after a pass. i have mine in the pass. side fender with a electric fan on it.

Yes, and they have an electric fan on them too. My cooler is in the back of the car though. I don't know that boxing it in the fender has adequate air flow....
The coolers have opposite lines crossed over to force the fluid to take the longest path through the coolers.
