1. Intake is long runner for trucks.
2. exhaust manifolds.
3. trucks don't have oil squirters but neither do the 2012+ motors
4. cams are only slightly different.
5. 10.5:1 compression instead of 11.0:1....actually a good thing to keep detonation at bay which apparently according to an insider at SVT is the problem on the #8 failures.
6.....oh wait, that's all.
I am getting more serious about this now. I may do a basically stock setup with take off headers and intake from a 2011+ as stage one and get the car running....then upgrade to Boss, cams and headers later on for the real fun to keep costs down now and get the car on track ASAP!
fastwhite99gt....I will give you a shout later this afternoon after I shut down at the office.

Only the Boss has forged pistons. All GT use hypereutectics, although there are some differences, detailed below. This info is completely OT for your truck engine, but I thought I'd put it here. It might be useful info later.

The late '12 piston appears to be the same as the 11-12 piston except it has the phosphate coating. The '13 piston has the coating, the extra oil drain back passages, and the gas groove in the second ring land.
From top to bottom: 11-12 piston (03/22/2010-12/08/2011)....Late '12 piston (12/08/2011-02/27/2012)....'13 piston (02/27/2012-current):
11-12 piston:
Late '12 piston:
'13 piston:

Yeah, this is about to turn into a fun project. It is still going to cost a small fortune to build it the way I need to, but it will end up saving me about $3k and save space in my trash can for parts I won't need. I think I figured out a way to get power steering with an MR2 electric setup, I just need to research the output of the alternators as the pump can draw 80amps on it's own. I can also build for the stock'ish HP output for now, then start ramping things up later on. Will probably do the Boss intake as a start unless I find a stocker for like $100. This may turn out to be an awesome project but I am going to have to start saving my sheckles and sell this motor I have now. I also think it might even become lighter than what I have now. Goal is 500rwhp which is 175 more than I have now! in a 2700lb car plus driver, this thing should be stupid fast!
