Have you seen bad stuff happen to motors with steedas?

I'll check with GH, that is really cool.
personally no but I think it is a waist of money and wouldn't chance it.

Seems like there were some reports of stock oil pump drive gears shattering from vibrations or harmonics that occurred after installation of UD crank pulleys.

I've known a couple guys that had that happen, but not using steedas.
I really don't want to risk my motor though...plus I won't use them in my heaton swap.

Travis is gonna have everything put together for me here in the next couple weeks and send me the parts list to complete the swap with his bracket. His part will cost me $700 or so, but it saves me labor, time, and parts harvesting.

I want to be able to drop my transmission if something effs up, so I want to go with Hooker or Kooks. Thanks to one of you, now I know this.

Is $650 shipped to my door a good price for a set of new Kooks? If Hookers are cheaper I'd go with them.

No , just Go with the heaton swap. You can make over 500 rwhp with a ported one. You will waste all your money on bolt ons and barely make over 300 rwhp.

I'm either selling the mach, or doing a heaton swap plus headers. Preferably the latter.
Modulars respond very well to LTs, that's the only reason I'd put them on...plus they make it sound great

I made over 500 rwhp on my 03 cobra with stock headers.

You won't need the LT's if you put the eaton on there. That blower alone is plenty for the stock motor, but the LT's will make it breath easier so you can lower the boost and still make the same power which will help keep the motor alive longer.

                        Glad I could help...

I guess I'm just trying to weigh my options. I want my motor to last me a little longer as it only has 40k on it.

Being cheap, I may just go without them.

I found a guy with a used Griggs K-member, A-arms, coil-over kit (w/o struts), and motor mounts, and he's asking 850 shipped. Is the Griggs worth the price?

Their site is showing $609 for A-arms, $950 for K-mem, and $275 for coil-over kit w/o springs or struts.

I've only heard good things about them, but is it truly worth 850 vs 400 or so for a used QA1 set up or something of the sort?
