  • Transmission Issue

Yup, it was bound to happen sooner or later. At 89,XXX miles it was time for the transmission/clutch to start wearing out.

Anyways I am kind of at a loss though and some are saying ToB, pilot, and pivot ball but I have no idea, yeah I will need to replace them all to be on the safe side but I'd like to know what exactly is it coming from. I am horrible with diagnosing transmission problems as they are right there with wiring, I hate them.
What do you guys suspect is the problem?

Well with the clutch out it make a screeching sound, when the clutch is in the sound is there but not nearly as bad. My '96 had a bad ToB but didn't sound like this, then again my '96 was in alot worse shape with the ToB

Bad throw out bearing usually causes a vibration, however it really doesn't matter. If you are getting a new clutch you should replace the slave/throw out bearing and pilot at the same time as well as the rear main seal.
