I went to change the plugs on my mother in laws Expy today. Of course I get to the last two plugs I need to change and the threads are frigging screwed up. The number 3 plug felt really loose and had all kinds of combustion residue on the coil boot. The number 4 plug was tight just like all the others but it won't thread back in now. I'll probably need to do the number plug also. It threaded back in but the boot had the combustion residue on it too.
I did a google search and saw good reviews for the Calvan and Time-sert kits for replacing the threads. Has anyone used the Calvan or Time-sert kits? If you have one would you rent it to me?
Or has anyone used another kit or tool that works good too?
Thanks for any info!
