Going to repaint my painted interior. Going back with black. So when you guys paint these you scuff up the body panels then spray a primer on it. Then spray it with the paint. What brands of paint look most like the stock black paint. And what about carpet dye. Carpet was red and died black and it's bleeding thru very bad.

You can get the SEM dye through Orielly's, make sure you get flat and not gloss.
For the carpet I've had great success with RIT dye. It'll still wear through eventually but doesn't get crunchy like paint.Comment

They have a semi gloss. You need to make sure that it is very clean with soap and water. Then with a pre-cleano for plastic parts. Then spray it with an adheasion promoter for plastic. Then you are ready to spray the new dye on. Several light coats, you don't want to run it.Comment
