Ok, so some quick cliff-notes:
I inherited this car, it was pretty much in pieces, and I've been slowly trying to get it back together...
I've got the rear end back in it, rebuilt transmission, replaced ignition solenoid, pulled all the nitrous stuff out, pulled about 2 miles of misc electrical BS out from an old alarm system, new battery, new alternator, new fan, new plugs, new wires, new rear brakes, new brake cylinders... I've got it to run, albeit takes a little warming up to where it will run on its own, but it runs, revs good, etc... It does NOT have any exhaust on it except the MAC Shorties... there is a stud missing on it and the H pipe needs a little tweaking to get it in place as well.
So my questions are:
1. Would there be any issue driving the car with open shorties to an exhaust shop to have them complete the work?
2. Can any of you think of anything else I need to check before hitting the road with it to the exhaust shop?
The H pipe I have for it has the cats on it, but there is also a hole in the side of the pipe that needs to be patched. Since it's a vert, I'd like to keep the cats to help keep the smell down.
Thanks for the help!
