  • Muffler suggestion?

I'm building a mild 351/C4 combo for my '66 Coupe. This car will mainly be driven on weekends and the occasional trip to the strip. Since I've been out if the game a while I was wondering what mufflers "popular" these days? I don't want it dead quiet but I don't want it to piss off the neighbors, either. Suggestions?

Dynomax is a great flowing muffler that's not overly loud unless you get the bullet race mufflers and they are really loud.

First, I'd not look at a kit.

Second, magnaflows are great soundingand hard to beat as far as performance. Drop it off at muffler king and get a custom made setup that will not only sound great, but be tucked up nice and close so you wont be dragging it on trailers and speed bumps.

I was going to say Spintechs, but they might be a bit loud.

I don't want a whole system. I think I might holler at Bryan and see if he has time to do it all. I know he does great work, but last time I asked him about an exhaust system, he forgot about me.. customer service goes a long way IMO.

The days of the customer is right/respect are long gone.
You also gotta remember Bryan hears the same old shit EVERYDAY.
