What do I need to make the speedometer work?

  • #2
What kind of speedo? does it have aftermarket planetaries in it?

Autometer has a GPS interface that works with their guages (and some other manufacturers?)

If you have an aftermarket planetary set, you're hosed. You would have to use the GPS setup and aftermarket speedo.

If you're using a stock speedo, I'm pretty sure you are screwed.

You may want to look into the autometer GPS thingy, I know it's supposed to work with 'several' speedometers; it may work with a stock one?

I'd call their tech line and see if they know.

Why not drop an auto meter cluster in?
