Yeah if I wanted to make huge power like that I would be using a different combo.

If I were starting from scratch I would also use a different combo. Big cube/2 stages.

This is about centri vs a turbo setup. I don't know if I'll keep my turbo kit even if I decide on the turbo route. Already having turbo parts would help with costs though. Have WG, eboost2 already. Thinking turbo is nice due to making more power on 93 as well

I've been on the bottle for years and I'm looking for a turbo kit now. 2 of the fastest street cars are running turbos, that's why I'm going that direction.

once you get your exhaust and intake system, you've got a lot of different options for the actual turbo itself. that's what i like about them, choices and not being stuck to just one or two manufacturers.

big single would probably get the job done in your case.

My choice, obviously, would be turbo...but there are pros and cons to both sides.

Once you get a handle on tuning a turbo car and the boost/timing curve, they're tough to beat.

Blower cars tend to be more simple.

You have to come up with a new line, you've used that one too many times homo.

Will, if that were my car I would pull the motor and trans. Take the motor to a VERY reputable builder. Bore it 4.125, add a set of je pistons, verify the rods and crank can hold that kind of power and adjust accordingly. Add new arp studs throughout, New oil pump, rings bearing custom grind cam etc. End up with 10.5 ish :1 compression. Bolt the heads down then mark the intake and have it ported and matched to the heads perfectly. Add a nice set of 1 7/8 longtubes with a nice 3 inch exhaust. Then bolt on an f1r with a nice largea/a intercooler. If pulleyed correctly and a wastegate is added while using the eboost that is already in the car, low end power will not be an issue. This will easily make 800+ rwhp while keeping driveability good with the 6 speed. I would also take the factory computer wiring out and put a fast in. This imo is doing it right and you should have no issues except keeping tires under it.. haha

Why have a power adder that takes power to turn? Or runs off of a belt. Or adds stress to the crank. Turbo all the way....

They'll offer decent drivability, but I personally find them to be big bulky power robbers.

I've never owned a car with boost, so my point is invalid.

If I had to go boost, it would be a roots for the sound and low end power or a turbo for all around greatness.
Haha, I love reading your posts, they crack me up.

Will, do the single we talked about or a YSi. A YSi can make 1100 rw if you get roudy with it. Andrew ran 8s at 160 on DRs with a "YS" and 348" like in 1993 (jk). Prochargers on Foxes fucken suck.

Sounds like a sick street car for sure. I love the pro charger thing because I've had better luck with them then turbos. But building nice turbo kit seems like it would work well...in theory
