  • Installed a slot meter and intake tubes

in the 95 the other day. I had the 90mm LMAF meter but the slot meter seems to make it run much more smoothly. I got the slot off ebay for $29, and had the rest of the parts left over from my Vortech'ed 93 Lightning install. I also like the fact that the ACT is built in to the meter. I almost peg the meter in the 3.5" tube so 4" will follow shortly along with a Fox tb swap.

interesting... I have always been curious to see someone install one of these meters on an older mustang. I also have a 95 with a 347 and lma, have 0 issues with driveability and it runs very smoothly..

I didn't really have any drive ability problems. My cam is pretty large and my heads are pretty big so it can be touchy below 2500 rpm, but I have it well sorted out. I have an HPX slot on my 93 Lightning as well. They are very versatile.
