  • Mil Eliminators for 11' V6

I installed some LTs and an O/R x-pipe for a guy I know a few weeks back and of course the rear 02 sensors are not plugged in. He wants his CEL off permanently, but to my knowledge nobody makes MIL eliminators for the 11'. I haven't done too much google research on this, so I was wondering if 99-04 mustang eliminators would work for it. I'd rather not have to do the "at home" custom eliminators.

He hasn't really tried messing with his SCT much, and neither have I.
I'll fool around with it and figure it out. Thanks for the help!

I'm sure the car will need a tune after doing LT

Agreed, if the 6 is anything like the 5.0 and it's new processor, it'll be needing a tune.

I had longtubes on my 11 v6 and it has to have a tune or it will run way lean. The non updated SCT's will allow you to turn them off, but the newly updated ones will not. You will need a custom tune with them disabled for it to be safe and also turn the light off.

he put on the tune for the LTs and such, but he couldn't turn the rear 02s off...he has a newer SCT, so the option is hidden.
Here in the next week he will be getting a bama tune and getting it dyno'd over at HPP.

I'd honestly just let HPP tune it if your going to take it to dyno. They are always spot on with their tunes. With full exhaust, if its a stick you should see somewhere around 290ish at the wheels. They can turn off the rear o2's as well. I wish I had kept mine. It was a blast to drive.
