  • Battery Light Coming On??

I swear it's always something here lately....

My battery light is now coming on, but it comes on then goes off and so on. It comes on after a few mins of driving but when I get on it goes off then comes back on.

My battery & alternator are both less than 3 months old, I checked my battery and it's showing 90+% charged. This morning checked my voltage on the battery with the car on & off and everything is fine.

What else could be causing this? It just started over the past few days

Test the alternator and make sure it's not putting out any AC voltage.

Still having issues. I've had the battery & alternator load tested and both were fine. My battery light still comes on and I noticed yesterday when I had my air on high that when at a stop it slows down then speeds up when I drive. ??? WTF??

If its cracked, weathered looking, loose, squealing, slipping or the inside is shiny. I just went and replaced the belt on my aunts car and it had one whole tooth gone

                              OK, now I give up!

I installed my new PA Performance Alternator yesterday, upon removing the old one I found that a piece of the back of it had broke off. So after I installed the new one OF COURSE my battery light comes back on! I just don't get it
