  • 1995 Headlight switch knob removal?

Apparently, I have the hands of a blacksmith. What's the trick to taking the headlight knob off of a '95? I'd like to get this odometer fixed sometime today...dammit!

If it's like my 96, there is a metal tab on the side with a slot

FWIW, mine broke when I was trying to remove it. Ended up buying a new one, knob, not switch.

Place your left foot on the dash next to the knob and pull like your life depended on it. It will feel like the entire dash is going to come out, but don't sweat it, it will come out.

Yep. Here's a link for when you get it off.

I got it. I learned a long time ago that if you force something, it's going to cost money.

Right! I had my first experience with installing rockers on my 95 & got to love where the lower Alt bolt is next to the computer. Why they didnt make it where the bolt went in from the firewall.
