got some rear 4cyl springs and front eibach drag launch springs today. it didn't take long to do the rear at all, but the front have me at a stand still. i even rented a spring compressor from Oreilly's and still couldn't get the front done. im doing these in my driveway without the help of of air or power tools. does anyone have any ides for me? i was really hoping to have it all done today. it's looking like im gonna have to put the Sportlines back on for 2 weeks till i can get at it again.

just went to order that kit, and it shows me this....
Note: Not for use with stock Mustang springs or Drag Launch Springs because of their long free length. A spring compressor is required to install stock springs or Drag Launch Springs. Will not work with aftermarket tubular-type control arms.
guess i can't use that

Why did you put 4cyl springs in the rear? The stock v8 springs are preferred over the 4cyl in drag applications. People use the 4cyl springs up front to help with transfer.
You want the ass to squat and come back up, from what I've been told by several people on and off the board, if you're using coil springs the factory v8 springs in the rear is the way to go, good for low 1.5 60fts.

You don't need a spring compressor. Take the A-arms loose from the k-member and use a floor jack to let them down. If you're trying to do it by keeping the a-arms attached to the K and undoing the spindle side you'll NEVER get it done. Figured that out the hard way when I was 16.
It's been ~10years since I've done fox springs, don't remember what all you need to take off, seems like swaybar, then a-arms with a floor jack or two under them (Seems like you put one at each end of the a-arm where they bolt to the k) - don't remember, maybe shocks??? Either way, it won't be as fast as the rear springs, but shouldn't take more than an hour.US Politics in three words - Divide and Conquer
