  • Storing car for winter.

Is it better to leave more gas in the tank or less? In other words, a full tank or something like a quarter or less?

Completely full. Add some stabil to it also

It's been a while since I've stored a car for winter, but we always put Stabil in the tank, then filled up to the top, then ran it a bit to get the Stabil into the lines and carb. Never had an issue when Spring rolled around again.

          Don't forget the coolant also.

I add that to the coolant or something else?

Make sure you use the blue stabil for Ethanol gas. Ethanol is hydroscopic like brake fluid and sucks up water

This is what we got out of a Honda Goldwing's fuel tank stored for a while with Ethanol gas in the tank.
