  • Fox coolant reservoir and throttle body gaskets.

I need a fox body coolant reservoir. Mine is busted where the cap goes on, and cracked on the sides.

If you have one, let me know please.

Also, the gasket between the egr plate and throttle body keeps leaking coolant. It's not a big leak, it just seeps out enough to leave nasty crusty along the seam.

I have replaced it twice, first time I left it dry, the second time I used ultra black rtv and let it set for a few hours before starting the engine.

I know you can bypass the coolant going into the throttle body, but I figure it's there for a reason, possibly cool the egr plate? Or is it's main function to prevent throttle blade icing?

In TX? I believe it's an emissions thing, I bypassed mine. I don't like the idea of pushing air through something with 200* water running around it. Well, limit it at least.

Bypass the coolant to the EGR plate. I have an extra stock overflow in the garage and I've got several TB/EGR gaskets. $25 for overflow and gaskets. I'm in Frisco. PM if you want to come get them.

We always bypassed the egr in the past.

Just use an empty bottle or crown or jack as a reservoir.
