  • Should I go lower?

I have been debating about lowering the truck a little more. Somewhere around another 2 inches, to tuck the tires a little. Thoughts?

And yes I know the paint lines are off. I am working on slowly doing body work to fix a few dents then hopefully next spring I can get a fresh paint job on it.

I'd leave it as it sits.

Btw. Did you know the paint lines are way off???

Do it. Lower always = better as long as you don't mind the rough ride.

it rides rough as is. I put a flip kit on the rear, it made it much lower then the front, so i put a helper spring in the rear. thinking about removing the helper springs, then adding a 2 inch spindle in the front.. i plan to put an all aluminum ls1 in it within the next couple months, so I will have to do something to the front to bring it back down as i will be losing about 150 lbs off the front.

Personally, If it were mine I wouldn't want it any lower, unless it was bagged.

From experience, much lower and everything will rub. The tires WILL hit the fenders, the axle WILL hit the frame, the ride will be rougher. Shit, I can barely go over speed bumps in my truck (much lower than yours). Try it, but I would bag it.

I love slammed cars, but not into that SLAMMED look with a truck. The ride height looks fine to me, but it seems like it would look a lot better with bigger wheels. Just my opinion.

When they painted the truck, was it on a hill by chance?
