Not sure if serious, or just trolling...

Update: I paid hpp $200 in labor to remove and replace the passenger side valve cover. ( goes to cost of repair) They say I will know something no later than Tuesday.

Update: they tore the motor down and couldn't find anything wrong whatsoever. No idea as to where the knock is coming from... They even when in with a bore scope in checked the cylinders. They did find out that my intercooler pump is out and my canned tune from Amazon tuning is bad.
So now its on the dyno about to be tuned and this whole ordeal is costing me about a grand.

If it is reassembled, is it knocking/ticking anymore?

Car went on the dyno today only to find out that I don't have enough fuel. Now we are putting in Ford GT pumps then back on the dyno... Should be ready by Monday.

Still haven't seen the car. I assume that it still is. They said there was nothing mechanically wrong to cause the issue.

HPP: "well, we're not sure why your motor is knocking. We checked it out. I mean it was knocking and rattling and thudding but when we pulled it all down, nothin' seemed wrong. So whaddaya say about a DYNO TUNE?"

When they told me I was out of fuel and going way lean I was pissed. There is no telling how long it has been that way or how hard I have driven it lean. Now that I think about it that's probably why it's knocking in the first place. I had a mail order tune and it's been on the dyno to have it checked out. It was okay at the time. I guess the pumps were pretty much maxed out back then and now with age they are losing output. Oh well, at least I will have fuel for future mods.

Edit: If the motor doesn't grenade first...

So you think the motor noise is related to the lean condition... They can't find the reason for it making racket... So let's do a strapped-down load test.
