fairmont/zephyr update!!!!

Its finally home. After a long title application process im the proud 3rd owner of a 1981 mercury zepyr. The engine has less than 15 miles on the rebuild 2.3l. Im missing one hubcap, and it doesnt idle worth a shit.

The good news is the damn gas gauge actually works, no bad glass, car is solid, has a bunch of rock chips and some cancer starting on the pass door.

Bad news is im missing one sweet hubcap

Plans are to build a 302 turbo car. Going to start this winter on it. I will be converting the interior over to mustang as well.








The bumpers should clean up decently. Took alot of work to get this.

Im well aware of montzilla, and brayn. Been to his house a few times back in the day.

Bryans car was cooler before he painted it. After he painted it he ran it a few times and then fell off the map as far as posting on dfw.

He was building a silver mont for his wife back then too, but never finished it.

Bah i like them with the newer dash, shifter console and buckets.

The interior isnt in bad shape, but it is far from mint. Dash is cracked, wheel is cracked.

I remember thinking 1.30 was insane hah. Yep, that was a pretty clean car. I liked it with the twins, don't think I ever saw a good run with the single.
