    Center line crash sensor. No if your srs system is disabled.

      crash impact sensor. Removal will throw a SRS light in the dash. re-locate it underneath the core support.

        Yes you need it. Its the Airbag sensor, just re-drill the holes. And don't be fucking dropping or banging it around while its 'live' it could blow the airbag.

                I didn't realize it had a bolt that holds it on the side of the core also. I just removed the two bolts on the top of the core and gonna leave it

                    You need to re-mount it securely. If the sensor can move, say, in a frontal collision, it will cause a delay in activation of the air bag. Essentially the bag could go off as your face is already forward and cause some serious damage.

                      My air bag module took a shit and started beeping and causing my air bag light to flash, so I ditched it. I should ditch the rest of the system too.

                      If I crash I deserve to eat steering wheel because I would have likely been doing something stupid.
