  • New Engine Tune Recommendations??

I'm getting close to having my car back on the road. Would like to hear opinions on where to get it tuned. The car is going to have an SCT Big Air MAF and all new fuel system so will have to be tuned right away. It already has an SCT chip so can anyone give me an idea of what the dynotuning should cost?

last i recall you're looking at anywhere from $150-300 for a dyno tune.

i would call one of the reputable shops around here (HPP, Gearheads, True street) and talk to them personally and see where that leads you.

since you have an old school pushrod car I don't think you can really go wrong with any of them, but i could be wrong.

I recommend Truestreet. They tuned and fixed my car after another shop left a 2012 with 10k miles with gear whine, loose exhaust and engine issues. Truestreet will take care of you!!! The $375 charge for lifetime tuning is well, well worth it with them. They have great skills and their service is second to none.

I'd call them directly, most of them are backed up 1-2 weeks.
At least when I called around before the last cruise.

I can probably fit you in. Depending on when you get it running again.

We can use a dyno in Ft Worth or in Haslet
