Trunk lock

I picked up a trunk lid today, thanks Jeremy, and need to take the lock off my lid and put it on the new lid. What's the best way of removing it without completely fucking it up?

'98 GT. I got it off by drilling out the thing holding it in place. Now I just need to find something to hold it in place on the replacement lid. And fuck lining this thing up. How do people get it squared up.
