  • 2002 GT, why would someone bypass the PCV?

Car runs _ok_ like it is, but just curious why someone would bypass it in the first place.

I'm trying to get all the misc bugs worked out of this thing, and was wondering if I should put it all back.

    Thanks

Because it's a worn-the-fuck-out motor and they got tired of it sucking out so much oil?

hmmmm, that's very likely. Would that also cause it to burn through ~5qts of oil in 6000 miles?

Worn rings, worn valve guides, bad valve seals, burned valves, broken piston.

Guess I'll just be monitoring the oil level and adding when needed then. I'm not about to do any of that shit any time soon. I can say that it runs pretty good as it sits. LOL
