a guy just bought some parts from me and he is stranded. i sent him on his way with a friend of his to get his other keys, we tugged on the wheel back and forth but the key will not turn over. any other recommendations?

Spray some lube in it and run your key in and out a few times. If it doesn.t turn afterthat tap on the back of it with a screw driver while intermittently trying to turn it.Comment

Make sure it's actually all the way in park ....if its an auto that is.Comment

Was a 5 speed . He came back with his other keys and they did.t work either. I didn't want to tug on it to hard since it wasn't my car. He got frustrated and started yanking in around and finally got it to turn over.
