Im happy you are certain that you have an F cam. Kidding aside, that cam is very similar to the anderson b25 cam all the way down to the valve events. the 51014 is a good cam. I would run it over the f cam. What heads are you running though?

You shouldnt have ptv clearance issues but it would be ignorant of me to give you a direct answer. Every motor is different and what clears in one might not in another. Youll just have to check. You and 91coupemike have very similar builds. Interested to see how yall perform. He has my old build.... Brodix heads, systemax, and b25 cam was what i was going with before i sold it to him. Keep us updated if you go with that cam. It is a good supercharger cam.

Would this work when I called lunati they recommended this cam what do you guys think. Hydraulic roller, lopey idle. Hi performance cam for street/strip applications. Excellent for 331-347 stroker engines with Mass-Air type fuel injection (may require computer mods). Needs 9.75-10.1 compression ratio, aftermarket 180-205cc heads and induction, 2500-2800 stall or 5 speed and 3.73 rear gears. Excellent Nitrous or Supercharger cam also!

According to those requirements they set up as guidelines, you meet none. I'd say that's a lot of cam for a little 302. I'd chose the first one you posted.

Idk if you are being serious or not... if so... that cam will beat the hell out of your pistons giving it a very unique sound for about 2 seconds =) Its almost like they recommended you a cam to build a motor around which is exactly the opposite of what one should do when building a motor.

I sent you a PM for a cam that would make a great street/strip cam nitrous cam.

I prefer a custom cam, but OTS I'd go for a cam from Comps NX line. His car is light to begin with. His heads are far from ideal. He has a really nice intake and TB setup. I offered a small NX camshaft to him. It's the NX264HR-14. Nice and tame idle, easy as crap to tune, good manifold vacume, something the F cam fails at miserably. Truth be told I'd say the cam and heads he already has make a nice nitrous combo. Perhaps his intake is a little large for the cam and intake. He is using nitrous which IMHO doesn't need a super huge intake because it carries it's own oxygen with it. He needs 1-3/4 primary tube headers, 3" collectors, 3" exhaust, 1.7's on the exhaust side, and 3.73's. I know he wants to go carb, but all he wants is 7.0 in the 1/8th. He could do that with a much more vacume friendly cam than the F-Cam, better exhaust, and a small nitrous kit. He's already runnig 8.0's to 7.8's.
