if you want 300+ rwhp from a HCI set up on a 302 the torque typically sits around 330-340 to the wheels. 360 ft/lbs would be hard to get, especially with that intake even though it is an excellent intake.

I thought the Trickflow 170s where 1.9 - 1.56 & came Pedestal. I would convert to Stud mount. But since im running the stock cam. I just dont see the need. But this is a clean coupe & I do want a set of nice heads on it.

Im thinking the AFR 165 Pedestal Mount heads for $1436 are gonna be my best bet & maybe hit my 300 RWHP & 360 RWTQ goal. Keep in mind this is a Speed Denisty car staying N/A & the 165 come in 60cc perfect for my setup. From what I understand Speed Density cars run better N/A then Mass Air cars & also respond better to a Dry shot.

Without a radical cam the AFRs should not have any PTV clearance issues (of course the only way to know is to check every build). if he wants a mild street build with good manners and torque through the band. AFR165s with a tfs 1 or xe270hr-12 combo would run well and meet his goals.

2.02 valves on an inline valve head WILL NOT have suffecient PTV clearance regardless of the cam. i dont give a shit what brand they are.

The AFR 165 should work perfect actually.The 185 are 2.02 & the 165 are 1.90 http://www.airflowresearch.com/index.php?cPath=21_23 Im going to run the AFR 165 with the stock cam & these come Pedestal mount. These are the exact heads in the 400 N/A Stock Cam Link

lol... better start googling =) First off the AFR165 heads are 1.9/1.6 valve heads and I have personally seen cars with AFRs and cam on a stock bottom end. I also was about to buy a 93 cobra with Roush 200 heads on it (2.02 valve) with stock bottom end.

i know because the futura originally had edelbrock rpm's with 2.02 vales that put dimples in the first set of pistons i ran with them before changing to trickflow

BTW the new Age 165 renegade heads flow just about as good as the old 185 design and would work wonders on your motor .

They only come stud mount, Correction they are referred to as AFR Renegade Street heads
