4.10 gears are too much for the new 5.0. I keep hearing on SVTP that 3.31 gears are what 5.0 owners like because of being able to stay in 4th gear IIRC.

The car handles pretty good, just needs more power now.

Man you need to stop liseting to them fools over there. DOHC mod motrs have always craved the gear. WHen I first bought my Cobra in 97, the first thing I did was put in 4:10's. Once I put on every single mod available at the time, I went to 4:56's.

My car is at HPP cause I switched to 4.10's. Now I'm switching back to stock 3.31's cause 4.10's are way too much gear if you are running nitrous like me or FI. 2nd and 3rd gear is non existent when I hit the switch.

Manny at HPP knows his shit. He's done plenty of these new 5.0's that it takes all of one or two pulls and its tune.

possibly a nitrous kit. If you do a nitrous kit, go with the nitro daves plate kit. Fitment is perfect and everything is pre-bent and ready to fit the new 5.0's!!

I would suggest the above changes.. I've had much better experience with these.. Give us a call when you are ready for a tune!

got my windows tinted yesterday, used ceramic tint, supposed to keep out like 80% of sunlight, looks awesome and seems to be working well as far as the heat inside the car. Little more expensive, but i feal it's worth it
