Less factory power but also less emissions BS. Biggest problem I've heard with the 5.9's is the injectors only last around 150k on the newer models and the lift pump going out and shelling the injection pump. Not hard fixes and damn cheaper than the others to fix.

Edit: I think the lift pump problem somewhat went away in 03 or 04 when it was moved from the engine to in the fuel tank.

the emissions BS is a non-issue to me... I can delete a truck for $150. the 6.7's have fewer injector problems

it's pretty rare to hurt a CP3 injection pump
