Thanks for the info JimD, I've been contemplating doing these, but as the only tech in a small shop, myself and owner (mostly does bookwork, some tires, and minor repairs), I've been able to keep busy enough to pass these on. But with slow spells I always consider doing more of the jobs that don't seem so appealing.

No problem, there really not that bad. It just the owner and i where i work, he's an old know it all cheapskate who won't turn shit down. I won't do these for book rate, clock hours only. I mainly do engine/trans swaps which i'd rather stick to.

                The TSB states this:CAUTION
DO NOT USE AIR OR POWER TOOLS FOR SPARK PLUG REMOVAL. SPARK PLUGS MUST ONLY BE REMOVED WITH HAND
                TOOLS.

So do you still do the other parts of the TSB with soaking it with carb cleaner or do you just hook up your 3/8" impact and go to town? How do you get to the back two?

I only have a 1/2" impact. Do they still break for you with the impact?--edit... i reread your earlier post.

Sorry... i reread your earlier post. Do you think I will be ok with a 1/2" impact? I have a 3/8" air ratchet and a 1/2" air impact in my tool box.

This is why I am replacing them with one piece designs so I never need to worry again.
