Im not sure on how much wider it would be including the tanks on the side, but I would try to find out the overall dimensions to make sure its gonna fit first.

But as long as its a dual core aluminum radiator that fits the right dimensions it should be fine.

I know there has been a lot of talk about this 438556 radiator from Oreilly's, and it not actually being the radiator to spec that its actually listed as on Oreilly's website. But has anyone actually still used this 438556 radiator even though the specs arnt whats its actually listed as on Oreilly's website?

Is it still a decent radiator for the money for a stock motor?

Or would the Oreilly 433556 radiator be a better choice now over the specs of the 438556 ACTUAL radiator?

Im just trying to figure out between the two which one is the actual better radiator?

I just bought a Griffin 31x19 with dual 1.25" cores. Summit has it for $380, it is what Griffin specifically recommended for my setup. the 31x19 is LARGE in a fox, especially with a/c (although my a/c lines are obviously different then a stock fox setup so I'm not sure if they are better or worse as far as clearance is concerned. After realizing how little of my radiator the my Taurus electric fan shroud was going to cover I bought a 26x18" baking pan on Amazon for like $15 and cut it so I could mount the Taurus fan into it and pull from the entire radiator versus a much smaller area. You can see in the second picture how little clearance there is between the front frame rail and the radiator (I had to do some minor grinding to get it to fit.

Get a real temp guage, a Pep-Boys 3-row brass and call it a day.
