Thanks. I'm going to call them. Also, oreilys offered to give me the 3 row part number 438122 for 140. Is this a good deal? Also I don't think my fan will clear. It's an 02 gt fan. Don't the Taurus fans have dials that leave a gap on the middle to clear the water pump pulley?

its a copper tank 2" core.

so i went oreilys and they said that even though the web site and their computer system lists this part number as a dual core and for $85 bucks, that when you order it, it will be a single core, plastic one. i am confused.

So the radiator (438556) that Baron posted is not a 2 core radiator like its listed as?

CORRECT. They ordered me 3 different ones and it was plastic, single core.

After doing quite a bit of research for the best/cheapest all aluminum dual core radiator for the money, this one from Jegs is a lil cheaper, and closer to a direct fit.

$160 - Jegs part # 555-52018

i think the aluminum one i showed you is worth the extra 40bux over their copper/brass unit

31"x19" is the largest radiator that will fit in a fox body mustang, but it is a lil too wide, and you will have to do some customizing to make it fit. (from all that I have read)

28"x19" is a direct fit for a fox body mustang.

24" seems a lil small/short to me. From all that I have gathered here are the overall min/max dimensions for a fox body mustang radiator.

min - 27.5" x 18" (direct fit)

ideal - 28" x 19" (direct fit)

max - 31" x 19" (modification required)
