Take a step out of the 80's some time when you get a chance.

I'd do the 04 dodge. and offer him 12k.

Obviously you havent, idiot, or you wouldn't have stuck your foot in your mouth.

Is this going to be for pleasure or work? I have an 2006 Ford F250 Super Duty 4x4 6.0 Diesel with 163k I may be willing to part with...

2004 Chevrolet 2500hd, extened cab, 4x4, diesel, 105k miles, a few dings and scratches, decent interior with no rips, $12k

2004 Dodge 2500, quad cab, 2wd, diesel, 83k miles, hardly any dents or dings, good interior with no rips, $15k

2002 Ford F-250, quad cab, 4x4, lariat, v10 (gas guzzler!), 56k miles, no dents or dings, perfect interior, $15k

That's a gas rig dumb ass . I can sell my 2006 mega cab for what I paid for 5 yrs ago . Try that with a ford or Chevy .

My dad has a 6.0 and pulls a 28 ft enclosed with a 4k car and does well. Fuel mileage sucks though .

would you actually pay that for even a mint 02' v10?
You could pick up a very clean 7.3 or 6.0 diesel for that easily

Yep. Price is really high for the combo.

I'd go for the dodge. I had no trouble out of mine. And the cummins is solid.

I'd rather find a well maintained higher miled dodge over all those on the list.

I've had 4 5.9 dodges for work trucks. Still have two. My 06 has had two AC compressors in 122k miles. I wouldn't sell it for a dime less than $15k.

My mom has a 06 that needs AC work, which would be its first time, with 190k. No other problems. I sold a 04 to a local roofer that now has 250k on it. Nothing done to it other than suspension and brakes. Still rocking the stock transmission also.

There is no way a 10 year old V10 ford is worth that. I know a oil field guy who just purchased a 2009 F250 XL 4x4 V10 with lower miles/new tires for $20k.

I have no doubt. I would get tired of the constant down shifting and 6mpg. But Im sure it would pull it

Well i decided on the f250 v10. I test drove them all and i really liked the dodge diesel the best, but the odometer said 83k, and when i pulled the vehicle report it said that it previously had over 200k!

Good luck on the v10. We like our work f250s but our v10s are getting 9 mpg.
