            We pair our 4 cyl turbo manifolds, 4-1, 3-2 when making manifold for a divided housing... Looks like they did they same with all motor design. Why would the all motor header pairing be any different than a divided housing on a turbo?

              pair 1 and 2 together and you will find power, period. our roughly 120 hp N/A inline 4's will make about 6 less with 1 and 4 paired together.

                  1,2,4,3.......like all inline 180 degree 4's, only thing that is different now is that stupid new R1 thing.

                    1,3,4,2 is a honda inline 4 firing order... this is cars BTW, not bikes... not sure what the bikes are... and those headers posted above are for cars...

                      then 1 and 3 go together as they are 180 apart. which also makes those 4 into 1's correct, firing in a circle into the collector

                          if you had 2 cylinders that are paired right next to each other in the same side of the Y, it would create backpressure and lose power.
