Has anyone used one of the portable 4 post units. If we could leave it up it would be great, but We need to work on farm equipment in the shop as well.

It will be for 3500-6500 pound cars/trucks.

Buy american and watch for weld quality. You can usually find the american made units for close to what the imports sell for. And within the last several years the welding was the main difference. The casters do come in handy. My buddy uses his for a big block powered work truck with a utility bed and it has held up for many years.

I had one installed by "The Wright Lift Co" in Fort Worth. They were reasonable on the price and the lift is American made.

As far as location The farm is in Kansas. It will be installed by my father and myself.
