      They say 21 tooth.

      It's not right, so 23 tooth is what I need?

        Prob just needs to be seated to the cluster.

        Thats the downfall to cable driven anything. Sometimes you have to find the sweet spot for them to run smooth.

            Man it could also be as simple as pulling it out of the trans and putting it back in.

            Ive had it bind there as well or be loose ect.


            Take it as a sign to sell the car to me for a 100 bucks and be done with the thing.

              I used to have a Ford Motorsport (OLD CATALOG) and I believe if I remember right, it used to list 23 tooth gear for 3.73's.

              I know my car had 3.55's and it used a 21 tooth gear.

                23 tooth is not a factory ford gear. it doesnt quite mesh right with worm gear and chews up. i have been down this road many times. you have to change the worm gear and use a 21 tooth speedo gear to keep from chewing them up with 3.73's
