  • Whats a used Snap-On krl1022 worth?

Im thinking about selling my toolbox. There's no reason for me to have an $8000(new) toolbox for just my home garage. Im thinking about selling it and buying a cheaper one or trading it for a vehicle or something. It came with a butcher block top and now side handles when I got it. Anyone have an idea of what it's worth to sell/trade?

By my snap on dealers usual pricing, 50% of new in good condition, he's always trading boxes in on new oes, trade ins are usually gone in a couple days, no more than a week on the truck that I've ever seen

You never buy a Snap-On tool box new. They are over priced like a mofo. You have to treat them like high end sports cars, let someone else take the hit.

My Snap-On tool box was about $6500.00 without the side box, I bought one used from the Snap-On man for $2500.00, he also gave me $1000.00 trade in on my old Snap-On box so I only paid $1500.00.

I didnt buy it new. I paid $3800 for it and got the butcher block top for free. Still too much money but not as bad as 8 grand.

Hang onto it. Good tools are worth their weight in gold.

No, but I bought it used too. It was just a smaller older version of the new one I traded it in for. I don't think I had more than $600.00 in the old one and I had it about 15 yrs. before I got this one.
