what drive shaft?

im possibly about to pick up a 90 coupe with a 351w that is almost done. It has a the aod transmission out of a early 90s lincoln and the rear end from a 90 GT. The 90's GT driveshaft is about a inch too long since the lincolns tail shaft is a bit longer than mustang aods. Does anyone know if there is a direct fit driveshift? or would i just need to have the GT driveshaft shortened?

Id have it shortened and balanced, fairly inexpensive and if its a reputable shop you won't have to worry about it, just make sure you get your length measurement correct. Inland truck parts is who I've always used.

Was thinking that might be the cheapest route. Was probably gonna use fort worth gear and axel, we use them some at the shop.
