  • tool boxes

I literally have tools thrown in tool bags and in piles because I have a tiny tool box. Do you guys have any feed back on something like this? It's right in my budget and would be a substantial upgrade to my 30 by 12 I have now

I bought a Craftsman box about ten years ago and I would have rather had the HF version and saved some money. Honestly, they are all about the same when it comes to Craftsman/HF/Lowes/HD/Sams Club/Costco stuff. I would buy the largest one for the $$$ at any of those places. Professional grade stuff is much more strong, but what would a goober in his home garage need to spend 5K on something that never really moves and just holds tools?

do a search...this was just covered. The harbor freight box comes in with good reviews. You may or may not be able to use a 20% off coupon on it

Depends on how much you use it. If you are serious about your tools and use them alot i say spend money on atleast the deep professional craftsman stuff or whatever is the same.

No tool box should be under 300.00 Also look for used on craigslist. Alot of people upgrade to better boxes all the time and good deals can be had.

I went back and forth between the harbor freight box and the Homak Pro series that Northern Tool sells. In the end I went the the Homak. It's been great and is really well made!

Ive had a craftsman box for the last 10 years and its still in good shape since I take care of them and never move them. If I'd made my currebt box last that long, I feel confident that these will be fine.

It's not going to matter, he surely bought it used. So unless he can give a link where you can buy one today, his comment is a useless barg post.
