  • How to remove mass air harness

I have a parts car that is mass air equipped a individual is interested in the ECM/harness. What is the easiest way to remove these items and a rough time estimate to complete the task?

It's a 88 gt that was converted from sd to mass air.

I believe the conversion harness goes directly to the PCM plug. Should have like 4 pins. Just unhook the mass air meter plug, then pull of the passenger side kick panel, and pull out the PCM plug. Should be fairly obvious which pins belong to the factory harness and which ones are to the mass air harness.

I got it out in 15mins the buyer wanted the complete pcm harness so I unhooked it and tried to snake it around the heater core/box to only get hung up. Since the cars body is basically scrap I just cut a larger access hole and it came right out no issues.

Thanks to those who offered up some help.
