At least tell me that you had the battery disconnected. Friend of mine kept spraying the engines down at his car lot. Kept telling him that he was going to mess it up. Didn't believe me till he fired a $200 alternator.

No I didint actually. It's all clean now so im done spraying the engine unless something bad happens.

Had a radiator go out earlier this week and antifreeze go things dirty and overall just tired of having nasty hands when doing simple tasks on the car.
