  • U-bolts locally?

My flip kit bolts are rusted to hell and 1 had to be cut off...looking to have some made locally. Anyone have a recommendation? If I remember correctly, there was a place in Ft. Worth.

Probably overkill but I would like some grade 8 bolts (preferably plated so they dont rust again). I found some "Rough Country" ones on ebay that are close enough, grade 8 and coated but Im afraid they are cheap chinese ones.

I need: 5/8" (9/16" would work) x 3 1/4" x 8" u bolts. Tyrone Biggums hooked me up in the mean time with one but its a 1/2" bolt grade 5. Id prefer to get some grade 8.

Most bolts are made overseas unless you have them turned and bent here.

Big rig alignment shops will have a good selection. Franks front end alignment in Fort Worth will probably have them in stock.

I've had quite a few sets made at Ray's Champion Spring off 35 in Ft Worth.

Franks keeps threaded bar stock in almost any size and length you could want. Tell them what you need and they will bend them on spot. Off University and Foch.

Weaver springs. All they do is leafs and they bend their own bolts
