Do you want to buy a cage and have it put in, or one built? chromoly, steel?

Price can vary if the pipes have been pre notched as well.

The last one i paid for in 2003 i got steal on the install for 400.00 including the cage Id say thats half of what you will pay now.

i would like one to be made and i would prefer chromoly, are the cages that already built that you weld in decent. Would like something that i could add on to easily if wanted to make it a 10 point. A 10 point would be alittle over kill for an 11sec car.

As steve said, the difference is that the chromoly is a good bit lighter. you will add some serious weight throwing in a mild steel 10pt and although it is cheaper, a lot of guys need to keep the weight down so they go with chromoly.

JamesB built my 8 point chromoly cage. I might need to go back sometime soon to have him make it a 10-12 point.
