                my IR thermo has trouble reading the aluminum radiator end caps.

                    Id like to see what the temp difference is there. It might help to know if the radiator is doing its job or not.

                      An easy thing to try would be the addition of an expansion/surge tank. It would increase the coolant volume and ensure there is absolutely no air trapped in the system.

                      It probably would not be a bad idea to go ahead and pressure test the system if you have not already.

                            I don't know why but those electric water pumps always make me nervous that they're going to shit the bed and leave me stranded.

                                I knew a guy who fried his termi TWICE with a miezer. Both went out after hitting the strip.
