Stock pistons have a 1.125 fly cut. so a total of 4.5cc.
With that compression, would I notice any effect in running e85?
I want to run nitrous at some point, 100-175. Would the engine be fine with that? Does e85 and nitrous = good or bad results?
My goal on spray is 6.xx, if possible.

well it will raise your SCR and DCR i believe to around 10.1:1 and 8.8 to 8.9 which is really pushing it with 93 oct (didn't do the math). I knew they were between 3 and 5.5cc but wasn't sure exactly as the compression ratios between motors vary because of the leniency of the CC volumes of the heads and decking and what not on stock motors. I would say maybe just mill the heads to 56cc to bring it back down to the ratios previously stated and will allow for more PVC.
I dont know much about e85 on the n/a or nitrous combos so somebody is going to have to chime in or your going to have to search yourself.... turd.Last edited by FoxBodyNick; 07-09-2012, 07:30 PM.1993 Vibrant Red Cobra #1741.

10.5:1 is to much for 93 octane.
Dynamic compression ratio sir! With 10:1 I'll be close to 8.7 as far as nicks math states!

I guess I was just thinking of safety.
