3G Upgrade... Need help...

I've seen more than a few write ups on this, but they are all a little different or vauge. I found this one:

But it mentions nothing about utilizing a larger wire (4 gauge minimum) that other walk throughs mention... however I tend to trust corral write ups more than some of the no-name ones.

Any help here?

You can get away with using the stock wires but upgraded cable would be best. Welding cable works great.
