  • Cam spec guru inside:

I have the cam card for my anderson b25. The cam is spec'd to a 1.6rocker arm. The cam is designed for a 1.7 rocker arms.

I have 1.6rr already and was wondering if a 1.7 would be better, or worth the effort of trading to some 1.7s, and if I did would the cam card be voided with different rocker arm ratio?

That is the cam I have. To the best of my knowledge, this is the cam that made the 297rwhp with box stock gt40ps, cobra intake and long tubes. So I can't wait to throw some decent heads and intake at this cam. Although my set up could use a bigger more aggressive cam.

You have my old cam I sold Nick. I bought it off Corral, but do not think it is BJ's cam out of his 95. It IS the same exact spec cam though, and the cam card was from a guru that specs and grinds his own shit from Sacramento CA.

That is a great cam, should make 325 rw with some real heads and intake. You can run a 1.7 if you want, it will make overall lift around .545 which will be pushing it if you run a small decked head to bump compression. CR is more important than lift. I'd keep the 1.6s and run about 54-56cc on the heads to try to get up over 10-1 compression.

It will be a good cam for your setup, i would suggest the 1.7 rockers though. Will get a little more lift and help get a little more air into those cylinders.

try your 1.6's first, then switch, I'm betting there is zero change in the sop feel.
