SCT finally released the tuning software for the ecoboost F150's last week. Manny got some minor bugs SCT had figured out. Anyways, we haven't put it on the dyno yet for the 93 tuning, but Manny got the into my tranny computer and changed my shift points and light throttle manors of my transmissions. All I can say is Manny is a badass with these 6 speed autos. Almost every other tuner on the market makes these trannys shift like crap (I tried the Superchips Flashpaq, supposedly the best on the market, its not) and turn up the pressures so high they are blowing through trannys like crazy. So Manny went in and did his magic and let me tell you, my truck is shifting so smoothly I am in 6th without knowing i am out of 1st. And with 35's, my truck wouldn't go into 6th on its own without going 80+ mph and then letting out. I had to use select shift to do so.
We will have it on the dyno real soon so Manny can work his magic. I just wanted to share with everyone that has a new f150 with a 6 speed auto, ecoboost or not, you need to get one of these SCT tuners and let Manny put his touch on your tranny. My city gas mileage is back too, just with tranny adjustments. But just how smooth he makes the tranny operate is worth it.
